I'm back at the JCC- Manhattan on Sunday November 17 to discuss, and practice, ways to heal stress and anxiety naturally. We will look at how anxiety develops, at the level of the body, mind and even soul. There are often multiple causes, and understanding them is important if we are to heal, not just fix symptoms.
I'll share the ayurvedic perspective on anxiety, and how to slowly, but surely, create an internal environment that is super resilient to external triggers. The first hour or so of this workshop will be a discussion. The second half will be a practice, specifically designed to first meet the anxious/stressed energy, then gradually coax it, move it, bend and stretch it....until it's regulated, until you're back to feeling calm and grounded.
Please wear warm, comfortable clothing.
